ALPHA Begins January 7th!

Join Us for ALPHA! Alpha is a 10-week course that meets once a week and focuses on your relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  We meet for dinner, watch a video and have small group discussions.  Maybe you have a friend or loved one who has been away from the church for a while and would be perfect to get involved with Alpha?  Hundreds of St. Bridget’s parishioners have been through the program with great success! Fair Trade Coffee and Tea Sales for Christmas The weekend of December 19/20 we will be offering an assortment of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, chocolate bars and chocolate covered coffee beans (YUMM!) just in time for Christmas – stuff a stocking or bring the relatives some goodies.  In time for holiday table we have a variety of new coffee and teas and you lovers of java drops know they are back again.  Both the St. Bridget coffee and Singing Rooster are in beautiful bags with a fresh seal that will keep that fresh roast taste longer. Advent Holy Hours and Confessions

Advent Holy Hours and Confessions Confessions will be heard during Holy Hours on December 15 from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm and on December 19 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. This opportunity will replace the annual Advent Reconciliation Service. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament These Holy Hours will open with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament which will remain on the altar for adoration and private prayer until the end of the Holy Hour.  Confessions will be heard during the hour.  Of course you may remain in church for some or all of the hour. Feast of the Immaculate Conception Tuesday, December 8th is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and a Holy Day of Obligation.  A Vigil Mass on December 7th will be celebrated at 5:30 pm and on December 8th Masses will be celebrated at 7:00 am, 9:00 am, Noon and 5:30 pm.

Thursday, Dec. 17th, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm   We will hold our traditional Christmas luncheon (wear your green and red!).   Tom Fadula, accordionist with the Lawrence Welk Orchestra, will thoroughly entertain us!  The Kindergarten singers will serenade us. Attendees are invited to bring their favorite homemade Christmas cookies or baked item. Thanksgiving Celebration – “Priests and Pies” The St. Bridget Saints and Sinners will hold their annual “Priests and Pies” Thanksgiving Luncheon on Thursday, November 12th at Noon in Church Hall.  A buffet luncheon will served.  Our new Parochial Vicar, Fr.
