Mass Intentions
Contact our parish secretary to schedule Mass intention. (804) 282-9511 or parishmail@saintbridgetchurch.org
Our Mass Intention book is open for one year from the current date.
A Mass intention may be requested for:
a deceased loved one
a living person who is sick or suffering
a living person who is celebrating a special moment in their life
for the special intention of the individual requesting the Mass.
Mass intentions are public and are published in our bulletin and online.
We may omit middle initials, titles, etc. when publishing names.
Each intention is limited to no more than two related names, or the name of one group.
Please let us know if the person(s) listed is/are living or dead.
Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis in the order in which the request is received at the Parish Office.
Scheduling of multiple ‘stipend’ intentions for one Mass is prohibited by Canon Law.
Mass intentions are subject to re-schedule if clergy deem it necessary.
A contribution of $10 is traditionally offered for each Mass, but is
not required
.
