The holiday season brings on powerful memories and emotions, and it can be a particularly painful time for those who have lost a child. If you have experienced this loss, or know someone who has, we want you to know about a special service to be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 6000 Grove Avenue, on Monday, November 27, at 7 p.m. The Holiday Memorial Service, begun in 2007, is an interfaith offering sponsored by several area congregations—Protestant, Roman Catholic, Jewish—to provide a time and place for families to remember the child they lost. We welcome all Millennials inside and outside our beautiful parish to attend the next event of the Saint Bridget Millennial Ministry - monthly Mass Meet-up on Sunday, November 12.
As our tradition, we will meet in the Saint Bridget's Church Commons by 4:45 p.m. so that we can sit together at 5:00 p.m. Mass in the Sanctuary. Afterward, we will go to Can Can restaurant in Carytown for dinner together. We have made the reservation already and usually have 10 to 15 who join us.
