Dedication for The Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Haas Memorial Children's Liturgy of the Word Library  - Please join Cathy, a long time religious education teacher and Children's Liturgy of the Word volunteer,  and Jay Haas, and the parent volunteers from the Children's Liturgy of the Word,  at 11:00 on December 11th for the dedication of the Betsy Haas Memorial Library.   Betsy was 9 years old when she passed away in July, and was a joyful member of our Children's Liturgy.  Monsignor Carr will lead us in a prayer as he blesses a new Book of the Gosp...

National Vocation Awareness Week (NVAW) is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations. Elizabeth is active in her local community through bible studies,  catholic moms groups ,teaching vbs and support of her husband Jesse who is the headmaster of Benedictine College Preparatory. E-Giving Laminated Cards

Beginning in October, to allow those using E-Giving to participate in the Sunday Offertory, you will find laminated cards in the church entrances. Those using online and bank draft are invited to take one as they enter the church and place it in the collection basket when it's passed. St. Bridget parish will conduct a special second collection to help with relief efforts in the U.S. and in Haiti on the weekend of October 29-30. As determined by The Catholic Diocese of Richmond: 75% of the collection will be directed to Catholic Relief Services to help with humanitarian aid in Haiti and the other 25% will be designated towards Catholic Charities USA to help with relief efforts in the United States.
