What is Mind to Heart?
Led by our Seminarian Dillon Bruce, Mind to Heart is a monthly opportunity to spend time with the Lord through a 15 minute reflection, held in the Church during Adoration, followed by time for silent prayer. Suitable for teens and adults, these evenings provide a chance to slow down, learn about the faith, and pray in God's loving presence.

Under the guidance of violinist and teacher, Loretta McCray, students will have an opportunity to share their musical talents with parishioners in the Liturgy of the Mass. String musicians in 1st through twelfth grade and of all talent levels are welcome.
The season begins September 8 and ends May 3.
Rehearsals will be held once or twice each month on Sunday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Students will be required to commit to participating during rehearsals, and practicing at home.

Requirements for Ministry Volunteers
Volunteers in any Saint Bridget ministries that involve working with children under the age of 18 and/or vulnerable adults, are required by the Diocese of Richmond to:
To complete a Screening One background check
Attend a VIRTUS training workshop “Protecting God’s Children”
Both of these must be completed prior to volunteering with any of the following ministries:
Eucharistic Ministers to Shut-Ins and Nursing Homes
Saint Vincent De Paul
Religious Education PS-5
First Eucharist Preparation
We are in need of Volunteers to help teach religious education classes, help with sacrament preparation for our second graders receiving First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, and to help with Children’s Liturgy of the Word on Sundays at the 9am and 11am Masses.
In order to continue to offer these wonderful ministries, we need volunteers to help make them happen. Training, mentorship, and VIRTUS training are all provided. Please contact Mary Rebecca Pugsley at email@example.com for more information and to sign up.

Consider volunteering for the 2019 Saint Bridget Stew and Brew, held on Friday, October 18th from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Whether you sign up for a single hour shift, or a four hour shift, there are all sorts of ways you'll be able to help out with this fun and important event!
All volunteers who sign up before August 11th will receive a free Flying Squirrels ticket to their game against the Erie SeaWolves on August 21st. Furthermore, anyone helping for 2+ hours will receive a free event shirt!
