River Cruise in Washington! - On Thursday, October 27th, the St. Bridget Saints and Sinners have planned an exciting trip to Washington!  We will take an enjoyable cruise on the Potomac River aboard the Spirit of Washington while viewing the monuments and enjoying a delicious multi-course buffet luncheon.  Next, we are going to visit the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, recently restored and with many beautiful side chapels.  We will be guided by a docent for an informative tour of this beautiful church.  Then we will head over to bustling Arlington to complete our visit with a relaxing and meal at Lyon Hall, a popular and highly rated French brasserie serving classic French brasserie cuisine, featuring carefully sourced produce, fish, and meats – and delicious desserts (prepared by Bridie McCulla, recently nominated for Best Pastry Chef in Washington.  Yum!).  Sign up now to reserve your seat by registering soon in the Parish Office.  We will leave at 8:30 am from the front of St. Bridget’s, and return about 8:30 pm.  The cost per person, including the bus, cruise, buffet lunch, tour of the Cathedral, dinner, tips and taxes, is $139.  Please pay in advance as you register in the Parish Office.  Call John McCulla at 342-1112 for more information.  Invite your friends - all are welcome!   Sign up soon to hold your spot.  See you on the bus!
