Jesus and the Eucharist 7-Week Series Begins in January
You are invited to grow closer to Jesus alongside fellow parishioners through the Jesus and the Eucharist study beginning this January. This seven-week series was specifically designed for parishes to journey together through the Eucharistic Revival. Each session is full of rich theological content, powerful testimonies, and unique and timely messages from individual bishops across the country. Follow the Star, an Epiphany Retreat for Women, will take place on Saturday January 6th from 8am - 12:30pm. at Saint Bridget. Ladies of all ages and stages are invited to join us for a morning of fellowship, reflection and prayer. We have some great speakers lined up, including our former parochial vicar, Fr. Tochi, now pastor of Holy Rosary and head of the Office for Black Catholics. There will also be small group discussions, a delicious brunch, and Eucharistic Adoration. It is time to gather together to give thanks!
The Saints & Sinners annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, "Priests and Pies," will be on Thursday, November 16th at 11:30am in the Parish Commons.
Our Parochial Vicar, Fr. Godfred Appiah, will tell us about himself and his priestly ministry. He has an amazing background! We will enjoy a nice luncheon prepared by our Kitchenettes. Please consider bringing a home-baked Thanksgiving pie to share, and canned goods for the needy in our community. A $5 donation is requested for your lunch.
