CARITAS is Coming!
February 20th through the 27th

We are collecting donations and sign-ups sheets are in the Commons

Some of the items we will need:

Laundry Detergent, Lysol Spray - Travel Sized: baby powder, tissues, shampoo, toothpaste

New: Boxers (S, M, L-XXL), Short-Sleeved and Long-sleeved Undershirts (S, M, L-XXL), White Socks

New or Gently Used: Belts, Sweatshirts and sweat pants, Coats, Scarves, Gloves, Dark colored knit hats or Baseball Caps, Twin Sized Blankets and Flat Sheets, Pillow cases and pillows, Backpacks, Duffels and Totes 

Gift Certificates:  WalMart, Target, Costco, or BJ’s (these will be used to purchase items our guests may need)

Rolls of Quarters: For Laundromat Please send these and gift cards to the Church office attn.: Julie Koury

Volunteers Needed for CARITAS:

Any person helping out at  CARITAS, under the age 18, must be accompanied by a parent and supervised by a parent.  No Exceptions.

Food:  Meals - We will be serving about 50 people per night.  You will contribute toward the meal. You do not provide the entire meal or all of any dish.  Each person will prepare a dish for 10 people and bring it to the school cafeteria.  You may sign up to stay so you can help serve and clean up.  All meals are preplanned: Orange Juice/Apple Juice/Milk/Soft Drinks (2 Liter size)/15 sandwiches per day

Hospitality: Welcome, greet and visit with Guests. 
Assist with chores where needed. After the meal, help with Bible study, play cards and games with the guests.

Spend The Night: 8:30 pm to 6 am

Drive To The Laundromat: 7:15 pm to 9:30 pm (must be 21 or older)

Drive To Tuckahoe YMCA For Showers:
7:45 pm to 9:30 pm (must be 21 or older)

Laundering Towels: Pick up in the morning and return between 5 and 5:30 pm the same day to MPH

Health Care:  md., rn., Phy. Asst., etc.  7:00 pm

Barber: 7:00 pm

Set Up Cots: Saturday, Feb. 20th

CLEAN UP: Saturday, February 27th
