Mondays - Cathedral Bible Study
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Parish hall doors open at 6:45pm

Go to the doors closest to the church, not at the top of the ramp.

9/6  Theology on Tap 
"Do you Believe in Marriage" by Fr. Joe Goldsmith 
6 - 8 p.m. at Kitchen 64 ( 3336 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA, 23227 ). 

9/15 Adoration and Arianna's Restaurant event.
Adoration starts at 6 PM after Daily Mass at St. Benedicts Catholic Church ( 300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221 ). After Adoration, a group of young adults walk down to Arianna's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria ( 700 N Sheppard St, Richmond, VA, 23221 ) for dinner and conviviality with one another. Young Adults are welcome to just show up Arianna's if they cannot pray with the Blessed Sacrament. 

9/17 Cookout w/ St. Paul's Young Adult Group.
The event will begin at 6:00PM at All Saints Catholic School ( 3418 Noble Avenue, Richmond 23222  ) where hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, condiments, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. Expect a rousing game of kickball! Basketball and ladderball are also available. Pray for good weather, but we'll move inside if rainy. If you plan to attend an RSVP to Deacon John is requested; he is the point of contact if there are any questions

9/17 Young Adult group attending St Benedict's Oktoberfest
300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221. While the event will go on all weekend Young Adults especially are invited to meet at the St. Mary's statue at 5:00pm to enjoy the festivities as a group. Jake Mulligan is the point of contact for that if there are any questions  

9/18 Monthly young adult book club.
They will meet from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at a place that has yet to be determined with snacks and some light refreshments. This month they will be discussing up to chapter eleven of Bram Stokers' Dracula, it should be a deadly good time. Isaac Whitfield is the point of contact for that if there are any questions

9/22 Young Adult Men's and Women's Focus Groups
At St. Benedicts Catholic Church ( 300 N. Sheppard St. Richmond, VA 23221 ) at 6:15 PM. 

For the Fall Semester the Men's Group will be meeting and discussing St Augustine's "Of the Morals of the Catholic Church". Contact  Matt Lester for a free copy of the text, the amount to be read, to be added to the group chat, and any other questions

For the Fall Semester the Women's Group will be meeting in an attempt to answer the question 'What does it mean to be a Catholic Woman?" Contact Ryley McGinnis to get added to the group chat, for this months' podcast, and any other questions


October

10/2 Young Adult Brunch.
Bunch is at Eat 66 ( 2845 Hathaway Rd, Richmond, VA 23225 ) at 12:30PM.  Any interested young adult is welcome to join and hang out with existing friends or meet some new ones! Keifer Pfister is the point of contact for that if there are any questions


Volunteer Positions

Theology on Tap is a speaker series for young adults (ages 21-39). Our Team is made up of volunteers who work together (both behind the scenes and during events) to plan the event and keep events running smoothly. Email rvatheologyontap@gmail.com to volunteer.
