Effective July 1, 2022, Mrs. Allie Strollo will be the new Principal of Saint Bridget Catholic School as outgoing principal, Dr. Clift, moves to the Diocesan Office of Education.
We keep Mrs. Strollo, Dr. Clift, and the whole Saint Bridget School Community in our prayers and look forward to the future!
From Mrs. Strollo:
"I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO (so obviously I’m a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan). Thanks to my in-laws, I’m also a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. After following my parents to VA, I attended Longwood University where I earned a degree in Liberal Studies and Elementary Education. Later in my career, I went back to earn a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in technology integration from VCU. A few years later, since I have such a passion for lifelong learning, I went back for a second Master’s Degree in Leadership and Supervision.
I spent 20 years in Chesterfield County public schools as a teacher, professional development facilitator, assistant principal, and principal. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family at Bugg’s Island Lake.
I am excited to begin building relationships with the staff, students, families, and the Saint Bridget community as a whole. I’m also looking forward to being able to take two important personal values, my love, and respect for the Catholic faith, and my passion for education, to help me guide and lead the students at Saint Bridget’s.
Another fun fact, as a tribute to my amazing in-laws- my husband and I married at St. Benedict’s at the very same altar his parents were married at on the very same day 39 years later.
I would like to thank Rob Campbell for serving as the Search Committee Chair, all the members who served on the search committee, and all those school employees and parents who shared their insights and feedback with Mr. Campbell."
