Our Bible Study groups are preparing to start in September. These studies are ongoing throughout the fall months, so feel free to join in anytime! Below is a description of each study.

Monday Morning

Adventures in Matthew: The King and His Kingdom by Jeff Cavins. Set in the rich context of Jesus’ Jewish culture, Adventures in Matthew focuses on the fulfillment of the promises of the Old Testament. Join us as we learn the
universal truths of the Kingdom of God and understand more fully God’s will for us today.

This 24-week study will begin September 14th and will
continue through the winter and spring. Classes meet from 9-11 a.m. in the Church Hall. The $29 registration fee covers the cost of all materials. Contact Teresa Lee at TLee@saintbridgetchurch.org for more information.

Tuesday Evening

Second Corinthians by Thomas D. Stegman, SJ. Continuing the series from the Catholic Commentary of Sacred Scripture, this group will explore how we can fully integrate scripture into our daily lives. The more deeply we understand the Bible, the more effectively we can use it.

Wednesday Morning

James: Pearls for Wise Living by Jeff Cavins.  Join the Women’s Bible Study group as we begin this 12-week study of one of the most practical books of the Bible. The teachings of James offers practical solutions for handling and sanctifying our everyday struggles with the competing demands of this world and our faith. Thursday Morning

Walking Toward Eternity by Jeff Cavins is an inspiring series designed to help you live your faith more fully by developing and nurturing characteristics that are essential to the Christian life. Through daily prayer and meditation with Scripture, you will be drawn into an intimate and life-changing encounter with Christ. 

As you prayerfully reflect on God’s Word, you will begin to hear the subtle ways God is speaking to you, and you will be challenged to set aside those things in your life that keep you from growing closer to him. Daring to Walk the Walk, the first series of Walking Toward Eternity, introduces seven key virtues and outlines practical steps for living them out in your life. Join us on September 17th as we begin this 8 week series. We will meet in Church Hall from 9-11 a.m. The registration fee of $16 covers the cost of all materials. Thursday Evening

The Bible Timeline by Jeff Cavins. Learn to read and understand the Bible from a Catholic perspective during this 24 week series. The Bible Timeline is a fascinating study that takes participants on a journey through the entire Bible. You will go deep into each period of salvation history and discover the amazing story woven throughout all of Scripture.
