This summer let us put on the mind of Christ by seeing Jesus’ life through the eyes of artists, and using these works to help us better understand scripture. VMFA docents, Mary Ann Peppiatt and Arlene DeConti will share pictures of several artists’ work over the coming months as we connect each piece to the corresponding scripture passage. We will learn a bit about the art and reflect on the scripture together.

Our first session, on June 10th at 7:30 p.m., will focus on the Nativity and artwork by the Italian painter Giotto di Bondone.

The series will meet every other Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. starting June 10, 2020. There is no homework; join whichever sessions work for your schedule.
