Saints and Sinners Trip: Destination Fredericksburg - April 16th – Sign up now for the Saints and Sinners trip to Fredericksburg! We’ll be heading just an hour north for a trip to the past! Fredericksburg, a quaint southern town, is steeped in history! Our day begins with an overview of Fredericksburg, and a guided tour of historic Chatham Manor, the Bloody Road, and the Fredericksburg National Battlefield. Time allowing, we’ll stop in at the National Park Service Visitor’s Center. For our midday meal, we’ll dine on fine Italian fare at Ristorante Renato, an old standby! Then, we’re in for some culture visiting Belmont, home to Gari Melcher, a renowned painter from the early 20th century. We will cap our day off with a wine tasting and light dinner at the Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery. We’ll be back to Richmond just about 8:00 pm. Do plan to join in! The cost is $120/person, including bus, guided history tour, lunch, museum fees, wine tasting, dinner, and all taxes and tips. All are welcome, including friends!
