Have you or a family member been contemplating the importance of protecting spiritual and financial well-being in preparation for the end of life? Faithful Catholics have always emphasized the need to make the best preparation possible for a peaceful passage to the next life. We welcome you to a seminar(and social beforehand), where these issues will be front and center.
Sponsored by the Saint Bridget’s Knights of Columbus, the discussion will be led by Deacon Christopher Weyer, and Nick Abbate of the Abbate Agency. Our two speakers will share their expertise on both the theological and financial aspects of end-of-life planning, all within the framework of Catholic teachings.
Topics to be covered include:
The role of spirituality in end-of-life decision-making
Exploring options for funeral rites and Catholic funeral traditions
Understanding Catholic perspectives on wills, estates, and inheritance
Preparing advanced healthcare directives and proxy decision-making
Addressing the importance of charitable giving and legacy planning
This gathering will provide an opportunity for open dialogue, allowing participants to ask questions, seek guidance, and gain a deeper understanding of how to approach these sensitive topics while staying true to their Catholic faith.
This event is free but you must RSVP.
