Ministry Matters – A Call to Liturgy Ministry

We believe that God calls us to ministry, and that God provides for all a parish's needs. We have a need for ministers to serve during each of our weekend Masses.  We especially need ushers. We will warmly welcome all those for whom now is the time to say Yes! to God's call to serve in any of the liturgical ministries: lector, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, or usher. Both men and women are welcome to all ministries. If you are a teen interested in serving, contact Mary Ann Peppiatt (741-3739) for an explanation of where you can serve before and after you are Confirmed.

The next opportunity to attend the required initial theological preparation for these ministries  will be Wednesday  February 8 from 7-9 pm in the Church.  Register now for Part I at stbliturgycommittee@gmail.com or call Vicki Gazzola at 282-9511. [Ministry Matters--Part II involves the logistical training for one’s chosen ministry (Lector, Eucharistic Minister or Usher) Both parts are  required before one begins a new ministry or returns to ministry.  Part II is scheduled after Part 1 is complete.]
