Bible Studies

Monday 9 a.m. Weekly Bible Study w/Zoom Option: Psalms
A Bible Study on the book of Psalms will begin on Monday, January 10 at 9:00 AM in the church hall and on Zoom.  The Psalms are essential to the Church’s life of prayer and to that of Ancient Israel.  This course introduces the historical context, major themes, structure, and theological importance of the Psalms.  This seven lesson course, led by Dr. Tim Gray, explains what the Psalms are, why they are important to our spiritual life, and how to read and understand them. This study will be both in-person and on Zoom with a zoom facilitator to ensure the zoom participants are fully engaged. This is open to all who are interested. There are no workbook or study materials to purchase.  There isn’t even a reading assignment in advance.  Just bring your bibles and participate in the discussions!!  This study will be weekly, concluding on February 21, 2022. To participate, please contact Ron Campbell by email: camp2130rjc@bellsouth.net

Thursday Monthly Men's Virtual Study: Into the Breach

  • Fourth Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
  • Knights of Columbus Council 5476 invites all Catholic men of St Bridget parish to join us at our monthly Into the Breach virtual meeting. Meetings last approximately 1 hour. This 12-episode video series was produced by the Knights of Columbus. One video is watched at each of our monthly meetings held throughout the year. The topic of each video seeks to answer the question of what it means to be a man and what it means to live as a Catholic man in today’s world.  The goal of our meetings is to spur discussion, help each other grow in faith, and to challenge one another to become the men that God is calling us to be. If you have not registered in the past, please contact: Sean Cox, Deputy Grand Knight (757) 342-1273 Scox121@outlook.com

Saturday Morning Zoom Bible Study
