Announcements

My dear Parishioners,

I am most excited that the limitations the pandemic placed on us are being lifted. Beginning Saturday, May 29th, our Masses will be celebrated much the same as they were before we were struck by this dreadful disease.

Come home! If you have not already, come home to Mass. Your family awaits you with love. Here we want to strengthen our faith, celebrate our triumphs, and mourn our losses. Here we want to be with you as family longs for one another.

The most amazing thing happens here: Jesus Christ the Son of God comes among us in the Eucharist gathering us to worship the Father.

Beginning Saturday, May 29th, reservations for Masses will not be required. All pews will be open. Ushers will gladly welcome you as usual but not ask the “covid questions.”

*Those who have been fully vaccinated do not have to wear face masks.

Worship aids and bulletins will be available, collections will be taken, live-stream continues, and it’s back to singing!

We are dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until further notice. At the Gesture of Peace, continue to bow and smile and refrain from handshakes for the time being. The chalice will not be offered to the congregation at this time.

We love you. We need you. Come home to Mass.

Monsignor Carr
