Bikes Needed!

Posted on August 30, 2018 in: General News

Bob Argabright is our connection with Oak Grove School. He has contacted me in need of some used bikes. The Charlie

Thomas Bike Repair Shop project supports the children and adults in the Oak Grove - Bellmeade community.

The purpose of the project, which will benefit 700 children and their families, is to engage the children in repairing their

bikes, promote community service, and promote bicycling in the community.

This bike repair shop is stocked with bikes, parts, tools, bike stands and other supplies. The repair shop is open on the

weekends. The young bike riders and adults are taught to repair their bikes. They pay for their parts by doing community

service in the Park adjacent to the shop.

This is where Saint Bridget Comes in. They need bikes!!

Bikes of all shapes and sizes in decent or repairable condition.

On Friday, August 31st the middle school will be hosting a BIKE DRIVE.

Used bikes can be dropped off at the middle school between 7:30am and 2:00pm.

Spread the word and free up some shed/garage space!
