While you are welcome to assist the needy at your own discretion, please know that Saint Bridget has an office of Social Ministry dedicated to offering real, meaningful assistance to those in need. Snowball Lane Repaving

Snowball Lane will be closed from July 25th through August 22nd for repair and repaving.  Parking, including handicaped parking, will still be available on the blacktop, in front of the Church, and on the streets surrounding the parish.  Snowball Lane is the one way lane you enter from York Rd. and wraps behind the elementary school and past the parish offices.  Snowball Lane is named after Snowball, the dog of Mother Presentation, who was headmistress at Saint Bridget school for many years. There is a memorial stone on snowball lane for the beloved dog.

Letters to Saint Bridget: Thank You

From time to time we receive letters addressed to the whole community of our Parish. Two of these letters came in recently from members of our community after moments of both great joy and great sorrow.   The first is from Kay White, the widow of our beloved Deacon Pat, the second from Ann Gill whose son was recently ordained to the Transitional Diaconate at Saint Bridget. There is a wonderful connection between Deacon Pat White and Deacon Luke Gill. While Luke was a student at Benedictine Preperatory School, Deacon Pat was one of his teachers. Friends of the Poor Walk

Raise funds for our St. Vincent de Paul! Teresa of Calcutta Chapter! Parishioners can form teams or walk individually to participate in the walk on Sept 24th at St. Michael the Archangel. Corpus Christi Processions

June 19th is the Feast of Corpus Christi - the Body and Blood of Christ! To mark this special day, parishioners are invited to join in one of our Eucharistic Processions after the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses.  In these processions, the Blessed Sacrament is carried in a monstrance and the congregation is invited to accompany our Lord in prayerful procession.  The 9 a.m. procession will encircle the Church and Elementary School. Vacation Bible School

June 27 - July 1st 9 a.m. to Noon. This interactive half-day camp is a summer highlight for kids ages Four to Fifth Grade.  Registration is currently closed. This year, due to Construction at Saint Bridget Elementary School, VBS is operating out of Saint Bridget Middle School and has limited physical space available. Ken Shuping will present the Epic: Early Church History lectures from Ascension Press.  Because this material is copyrighted, we can not live stream or publish the talks, this event is in-person only.  There is no charge for this event and you can come to as many of the talks as you'd like.  There is a video series and workbooks that accompany the lectures, but these materials are not requisite to attending to enjoying the lectures. At the Saint Bridget Bell Tower from 8:30 - 11 a.m. St. Peter Catholic Church feeds many of our brothers and sisters in the city who are hungry. Their Food Pantry is in constant need of replenishment! They have consistent demand for food for homeless and needy families. Saint Bridget parishioners' generous donations are a great help!
