What is Evangelization?

Posted on September 25, 2015 in: General News

What is Evangelization? A call to each person to share the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, and His amazing love for us. We can do this through our words and actions. A kind word, a smile, sharing your time and talent, extending an invitation to Mass or a church event … These are a few of the ways we “evangelize” every day ~ you may be doing it without even realizing it!

What is “NET”?
It is the New Evangelization Team at St. Bridget Church!

We began by:
Talking with each other about our personal relationship with Christ s Sharing how Christ is working in our daily lives - Why our faith matters - The difference this has made in our lives.
Ways we are beginning to share the Church’s message of evangelization with our parish:
- Our banner in the commons - Love Christ. Love Others. Be Disciples.
- New Evangelization pew cards put it on your fridge or use it as a bookmark!
- Gathering for coffee and donuts ~ coming to St. Bridget twice a month and posting upcoming events and opportunities in the bulletin.
