Liturgy is the most essential work we do at Saint Bridget, as the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. We are blessed to have so many liturgies at St. Bridget every weekend. Yet these cannot take place without the help of lay ministers to greet the Assembly, proclaim the Word, and serve the Eucharist.
By virtue of our Baptism, each of us is called to serve. Everyone who is baptized has Christ’s imprint and therefore is worthy of being a Liturgy Minister, whether as an Usher, Lector or Eucharistic Minister. How might you answer the call?
Please join us for Part 1 of Ministry Matters, the first of two trainings to become a lay minister, on Saturday, July 14, from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. in the Church Hall. Register at stbliturgycommittee@gmail.com or by phoning Vicki Gazzola at 282-9511.
