The Saint Bridget Parish Adult Choir is a volunteer, non-auditioned choir for adults and youth at least sixteen years of age. The Music Minister may consider younger children for membership in this choir.
The Adult Choir is mixed choir, singing in four parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass), and sings a varied repertoire from the 16th century through contemporary choral music
The choir rehearses most Wednesday evenings, 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., from the week of Labor Day through first week of June, and usually sings for the 9:00 A.M. Mass on Sundays (after an 8:30 A.M. rehearsal), and for special liturgies throughout the year.
Attendance at rehearsals and faithful participation in the choir’s assigned liturgies are essential. A good ear, some sight-reading ability and choral experience are helpful.
Contact the Music Minister, abean@saintbridgetchurch.org for more information, if you feel called to this ministry.
