Children's Religious Education
Saint Bridget Parish is committed to sharing the Gospel message with all people in a faith-filled and age-appropriate way. Our ministry has its foundation in our Sunday Liturgy and supports the role of the family in fostering their children’s faith. If you have any questions about our programs, email Mary Rebecca Pugsley.
Registrations are Open for 2019-2020 Religious Education Classes!
The Saint Bridget Religious Education program is open to all parish children, grades Pre-K through 5th grade. Children can attend either of our weekly Sunday programs: either from 12:30 p.m.-1:45 p.m., or from 3:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. (this is a change from our previously offered Sunday and Wednesday programs)

Registration is Open for Sacrament Preparation for 2nd Grade First Penance and First Holy Communion
What is sacrament preparation? Through this process, the church works in partnership with parents and families to prepare children for First Penance and First Holy Communion. In Holy Communion, the Saint Bridget community celebrates the presence of the Risen Lord in our lives, and in the Sacrament of Penance, the community celebrates the forgiving love of God.
To be eligible for the Sacrament Preparation program, Diocesan guidelines state that children must be attending a Catholic School or a Parish Religious Education program during the year they are attending the Sacrament Preparation program. Children usually prepare for and receive First Penance and First Holy Communion in the second grade. To learn more, email Mary Rebecca Pugsley.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is offered for children ages 4 to 7, at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Masses on Sunday mornings, and creates a uniquely sacred and child-friendly atmosphere for them to listen to the weekly readings and actively explore the word of God.
No registration is necessary. Any children attending Mass are welcome to join the group as they gather at the altar for a blessing before going to Church Hall.
Adult volunteers are needed to help teach the lessons. If you are interested in becoming a Children's Liturgy volunteer, email Mary Rebecca Pugsley.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer, this program is offered for children from age 4 through rising 5th graders, and is truly a parish-wide event with volunteer roles for all age groups. The theme for Summer 2020 has yet to be announced. If you have any questions about the Vacation Bible School program, or would like to help in the future, please contact Bethany Gasperini.
