THANK YOU to the entire Saint Bridget parish for your generous support of the Share the Journey School Supply Drive benefiting refugee children.  We provided full sets of school supplies for 67 children and then provided additional backpacks and supplies to many more children. It was a HUGE success and the families were so very grateful. Volunteer for Dinner Service with Housing Families First (Formerly Hilliard House, 3900 Nine Mile Road) We need volunteers to cook, serve and hang out with guests on the first Friday of the month for the evening meal. The number of clients varies but can be up to 10 adults and 20 kids. Volunteer Groups arrive at around 5:15pm for a 5:30-6:30pm dinner service. We need teams of  5-8 volunteers and families with children as young as 4 are welcome. Bring enough food for the volunteers to be able to get a plate and enjoy dinner with the residents. You are welcome to join us on Fridays from 830 to 1030 am to read and discuss the Diary of St Faustina, Divine Mercy in My Soul. First after Mass we recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet in the church then we move to the kitchen for reading and discussion. We adhere to The Cenacle Formation Manual. Along with the Diary we read assigned scriptures and catechism paragraphs. Please come in on any Friday and feel free to leave whenever you need. We are a casual group!
