Great News! Commonwealth Catholic Charities will soon be opening a shelter in Richmond for children ages 5-13.

The shelter needs a few more items to help the children feel at home in the midst of difficult circumstances.

They are particularly in need of the following items:

  • Story books in English or Spanish (for ages 5-14)
  • Art supplies (crayons, paint, coloring books)
  • School note books
  • Board games (dominoes, checkers)
  • Soccer balls
  • Baseball mitts, baseballs, and bats
  • Large storage containers
  • Fire extinguisher
  • First Aid kits
  • Pots and pans

There will be collection bins set out in the Commons this weekend for you to drop off your donations. Thank you for keeping the children and the shelter in your prayers.
