There are multiple VIRTUS training opportunities coming up!
What is VIRTUS?
VIRTUS is the brand name that identifies best practices programs designed to help prevent wrongdoing, and promote rightdoing within religious organizations. The VIRTUS programs empower organizations and people to better control risk, and improve the lives of all who interact with the Church.
Who should be trained?
VIRTUS training is offered for any adult who would like to be trained. The more adults who are trained, the safer our community can be. Training is offered for anyone, whether or not you work with children, the elderly, or vulnerable adults. If you've been trained before, you are welcome to go through the training again as a refresher.
Why get trained?
Training enables you to volunteer/work with children, the elderly, and vulnerable adults in the Diocese of Richmond. Training empowers you to protect the vulnerable from those who may cause harm.
