Cherishing Life at All Stages: End-of Life Issues for All Ages
An In-depth Panel Discussion
Saint Bridget Catholic Church – April 28th – 6:00 p.m.
Please join us for an in-depth discussion of the moral and ethical challenges that can arise at the end of life, not only for ourselves, but when caring for loved ones.
What must be done for the terminally ill, including medication, hydration, and nutrition? Who may make these decisions on behalf of our loved ones at the end of life?
What legal issues may arise and how should one prepare?
The discussion will be led by a panel that will offer their perspective on this important topic, and will allow time for questions from the audience.
Monsignor William H. Carr, Pastor of St. Bridget Catholic Church, Burke Balch, Lawyer and Director of the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics of the National Right to Life Committee and Sister Marie Kerns, Sister of Mercy and Director of Mission and Outreach at Bon Secours Health System.
The discussion will take place in the Parish Commons from 6:00- 7:30 p.m. Please plan to stay for light refreshments hosted by the Respect Life Committee.
