Parish Group Directory

St. Bridget Church has many, many opportunities for every one of our parishioners.  There are literally dozens of groups, councils and committees through which parishioners may serve the parish or serve others in the community; learn more about their faith and grow their relationship with God;  share fellowship with other parishioners; and more.  Please look through this directory of our Parish Groups and learn more about all that is available to you and your family at St. Bridget Church.

The purpose of our group is to welcome new members to St. Bridget’s and to assist them with registration. On the second Sunday of each month we hold a membership orientation.  Three people from our committee, as well as Monsignor Carr, are there to facilitate. We describe the many opportunities for involvement in our parish and encourage new members to become involved. It is helpful when our committee members share ways that they participate in parish life.  New members are then assisted in filling out their parish registration card.  Committee members are encouraged to make one follow-up phone call to each of our new parishioners.  Come and be a part of our committee!

We meet on the second Sunday of the month in the Murphy conference room for about 45 minutes.  Each committee member is only scheduled for one Sunday, but may attend any month if they are available.

We will always take new members.  Please contact Kerri Inge at kerible@verizon.net or at 703-405-9666.
